Roofing quoting software for the jobs you can price, and the ones you cannot.

A flashing patch and a full tear-off arrive in the same inbox and read almost the same. One can be answered from a rate sheet. One needs a ladder, and pretending otherwise is how a roofer ends up bound to a number they cannot honour.

Quoting software for roofing companies: leak repair, roof replacement, gutters, flat roofs and storm inspections, priced from your own rates.

It's Tono: one system, one voice. The same system that prices your jobs also answers your reviews, in the same voice, with the same rule. Nothing goes out under your name until you have seen it.

The roofing jobs Tono prices

Read from the engine, not from a brochure. If a job is not on this list, Tono will not invent a price for it.

The questions it asks before it prices

A replacement is the job where a guess costs the most, so it is the job Tono asks about hardest. Before a replacement is priced, it asks:
?
Roughly how big is the roof (square footage or home footprint)?
?
What material now, and what do you want to install (3-tab, architectural, metal, tile)?
?
Tear off the old roof, or layer over the existing one?
?
How many layers are on there now, and any rotted decking you know of?
?
How many stories and how steep is the pitch (it changes labor a lot)?

The trade that gets asked the most

Roofing asks more before it prices than any other trade Tono covers: 5 questions per job against 3 elsewhere. Pitch, stories, material, how many layers are already up there, whether the decking underneath is sound. Those are not form fields for their own sake. Each one moves the labour, and a roofer who answers them by phone every day already knows that. Tono just asks them before a price exists rather than after.

Where the number comes from

Your rates, not an average

Tono prices from the rate sheet you set up once. It is not looking up a national average and it is not guessing from what similar companies charge. If your number is not in there, it does not make one up.

You approve every price

The quote comes to you first, with the price it wants to send. Approve it, change the number, or decline. Nothing reaches the customer without that step.

It answers while they are still deciding

Most roofing companies answer a request when the day ends. The customer has usually asked three companies, and the first clear answer carries real weight.

Nothing for the customer to install

They get a clear, itemised quote. No app, no login, no portal. They asked a question and they got an answer from your business.

What it refuses to price

A sagging or structurally unsound roof is not a quoting problem. It goes to you, with the customer told plainly that somebody is coming to look rather than being handed a number.

Tono carries 9 categories of hazard and 46 of the ways real customers word them, because people do not report an emergency in the words a form expects. When a request matches one, the quote is stopped before it exists and the job goes straight to you. A tool that will quote anything is not being helpful, it is handing you the liability.

Quote it once. In your voice, at your price.
